One of our supporting sponsors for the Lodi Mother’s Day Run is Lodi’s own personal training studio, KR Fitness Systems, LLC. This is a private personal training studio started by Kory Ryan, with 4 other trainers to accommodate the rapidly growing clientele. The studio is conveniently in downtown Lodi on the “creekside” of Main St. According to Kory,
“KR Fitness is neither a gym nor a health club. We specialize in getting people where they need to be physically and living more active lifestyles. All clients receive professional instruction through 1 on 1 training sessions or small group training.”Trainers
KR Fitness has on staff three different personal trainers with different backgrounds, but all are degreed, accredited, and certified. Also on staff and within out studio are massage therapists, a neuromuscular therapist, dietician, and a reflexologist.
The staff trainers work really hard to communicate with other local healthcare related professionals such as chiropractors, therapists, and doctors to make sure of client success. I know this for a fact. During the past 3 years fighting an injury and trying to recover, Kory was very supportive in working with the Sports Medicine Doctor, my chiropractor and me (working out on my own) to find the right training program that would help me get back to running and biking. I was so happy with the group, I came back to train with them again in preparation for hip surgery.
Programs for youth athletes
Kory is also willing to put together programs for groups. When we wanted to provide some early conditioning and training for soccer players pre season, Kory prepared early morning sessions at the high school for about 20 girls.
