I can’t tell you how many times on a road trip I had to stop for fuel and walked into the local gas station for a bite to eat only to face poor choices that didn’t fit my best nutrition for my road race training. Now with the help of local convenience store chain Kwik Trip we have choices of chocolate milk, fruit, cheese, fresh sandwiches potatoes, bread and bananas! And thanks to the Lodi Kwik Trip, we will have plenty of fruit and chocolate milk ready and waiting for us at the finish of the Lodi Mother’s Day Run. Doesn’t that make you want to register now?

In researching the Kwik Trip corporate website, I found alot about how they give back to the community with several programs. They feel it is important to make a difference to people and organizations in the communities they serve.
- Neighbors Helping Neighbors Kwik Koins Program
The Neighbors Helping Neighbors Program is a collection of money donated by people in the community. We have coin boxes on the counters of the stores in which anyone can drop in money. These funds are deposited into an account that is administered by a committee of Kwik Trip management employees in the districts from which the money comes.
- Youth Sports Sponsorship Program
The Youth Sports Sponsorship Program is a donation program for amateur youth sports programs made up of kids 18 years old and under.
- Corporate Charities Program
The Corporate Charities Program is funded by Kwik Trip. We are firm believers in giving back to the communities we serve.
