Finisher Award for Lodi Mother's Day Half Marathon

Finisher Award for Lodi Mother's Day Half Marathon

In 2012, the Activate Lodi Committee organizing the Lodi Optimist Mother’s Day Run decided that a medal that sits in your drawer after a race just wasn’t going to cut it.  Our challenging and hilly course needed something as distinctive as the run.   To that end, and after careful research, window clings were designed by Creative Marketing that we feel announce your achievement in a much more obvious way.

Tshirts

As in most races, t-shirts will be provided to all competitors for all races. In fact the youth races are free and include the t-shirt. Cotton shirts are provided for the youth, 5K and 10k, while the more elite half marathon provides a hi-tech material t-shirt.

The youth races will also include a finisher medal award for all kids.

2011 Awards and medal

In an effort to incorporate interesting and distinctive age group awards like we did last year we are still talking to local artisans about possible ideas.

2011 awards were made from wood blocks cut, routed and finished by the High School Technology Education classes and then laser cut by Lars at L.A Woodcraft in Lodi.
