Ball of foot and running pose drill | Endurance Camp – KR Fitness

Ball of foot drills and establishing a good running pose are just a couple of skills we are working on this week. With the ball of the foot drills, such as hopping, allow the heel to “kiss” the ground while spending most of placement on the ball of the feet. Feel free to progress to a single leg version of this drill. Secondly, having a proper running pose is essential for running performance. Simply leaning forward into a wall with good posture while maintaining more body weight on the ball of the feet, but still allowing the heels to “kiss” the ground is the first step. Soft in the knees and pulling your leg/foot underneath you is essential in running.
