It’s never too early to plan your race calendar for the new year. Race Registration opens on Jan 2, 2013 for the Lodi Optimist Mother’s Day Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids Fun Runs.

This race is an early half marathon but a great challenge for those training for longer races. We have had lovely sunny weather for the past two years and hope that Mother Nature works with us to make our third year just as warm and accommodating.
Lodi Utilities keeps us running with electrical power in the City of Lodi. They also want to make sure kids understand the dangers around electrical connections. They are one of the sponsors for our FREE youth activities, 1/2 mile and 1 mile fun runs during the Lodi Optimist’s Mother’s Day Run. Continue reading

We like supporting sponsors that make us feel good, not only with their financial support, but after the race they can help us relieve soreness or injury caused by our recent exertion.
D&D Piggly Wiggly is a family owned local business serving friends and neighbors in the Lodi community, not an impersonal corporate mega store so common in our world these days. 5K Course for 2012 Lodi Mothers Day Run
